Marathi Documentary about the planned nuclear power plant in Jaitapur, the AREVA (France) and Department of Atomic Energy installs - Government of India. The film takes a look at the ongoing controversy and the people protest against the nuclear power plant, the hazards of nuclear energy. The plant is coming despite public protests by fishermen and farmers, who can see a direct threat to their livelihood and danger to a globally recognized biodiversity hot spot. Nuclear energy is expensiveand untenable for India, much more energy by far safer and environmentally sustainable sources such as wind, tidal and solar can generate energy. Despite the disasters of Chernobyl and Fukushima, the Indian government is on the promotion of nuclear energy on it, because it brings greater financial transactions, and much higher long-term operating costs of any other form of energy in contrast.
